doing some work, saw a long setup on my 5 and 3 min ES charts.
on the left chart which is a 5 min ES, you see a thrust up then
a pullback, which resulted in the MA ribbons pinching. Then
on the right faster 3 min chart you see an obvious abc pullback and
get a cycle buy (cyan dots) go long there with stop 1 tick below
the candle low.
anyway that's my favorite long setup. the time frames
here are irrelevant. it could have been a 60 min and a 30 min
etc, the point is I see a pullback on one time frame, then time an
entry using a faster time frame looking for an obvious abc type of
pullback, and for me I like to also see the cycle confirm
I showed one of these last night, here's another one I just
did
3 min ES chart on left, 1 min chart on right. pretty
obvious flag look, abc pullback. I get my trigger off the 1 min
(not the 3 min) off the doji with stop at low, basically allowed
for a 1.5 point stop from entry. MA ribbon pinch on the 3
min, then look for trigger off the 1 min via ABC pullback, the
Cycle indicator triggering a buy, and trigger off a tight
candle
again time time frames do not matter, I do this all the time say
on a 60 min and get a trigger off a 30 or 15 min, etc. time
frame does not matter, the setup is fractal
