futures were trading up prior to the Trump press conference.
However honestly he didn't sound that well not his normal
confident self, the futures starting dipping after he talked for a
bit I think sensing that, Anyway these are wild times guys.
as Steve and I say, we actually prefer a red to green move where
the market opens down then recovers, not gaps up. maybe we'll get a
gap down tomorrow and if that recovered intra day and turned
positive, that would be more constructive of a short term
bottom
we'll see how futures trade tonight and of course open
tomorrow

During his press conference Trump blamed the the debate last
night for the stock market drop the debate was yesterday the market
dropped over 2,000 prior to it
well my wife who is a mild mannered gal said u turn that off or
i am leaving the room ...so speaks for itself lots wack jobs and
scare the hell out of folks
People get too charged up with politics today. I just
watch sports and play with my dogs these days. I did hear his
press release while on my home as I was listening to business news
and he really struck out on addressing the situation. He
should have just let the CDC speak and keep to bullet points of
some sort of action plan. Markets do not like uncertainty.
he has cabinet members who have a job to do and they have done
it. i have no idea about CDC they scared the hell out of everyone
yesterday. that coupled with cuban nut wacker bernie and good
recipe for 2000 point drop. everyone should let those running the
country do their jobs and so far they have done excellent job...i
am done now haha

Agreed. Cut out the noise so you can make rational, educated decisions.
