I created what I call a 'half system'. What I mean by that is a
full system makes all the decisions by entering new trades and
exiting trades. However clearly I do a lot of discretionary trades
where I trade ES etc. I also day trade stocks.
So the 'half system' works by, it doesn't enter the trades, I
enter the trades manually, then I can turn on the 1/2 system to
manage the trade via my BPT MA higher low method.
so here's a test I did today, I entered MES contracts here, then
I turned on the half system, which set the initial stop at that
low, then ratcheded the stop up to the next higher low when the BPT
MA went red to green - see dotted lines
this would also work on stocks, so if I bought TSLA on a 5 min
chart and I had some profit but needed to walk away for a bit, I
could turn that half system on
This is pretty cool, half system to manage manually entred trades
