Question about stop market orders .... I had a stop market in
place on IRBT, but trade station tells me that stops only function
during market hours, so a sell off after hours is a risk. Is
there any way to protect yourself there?
stops do not execute in after hrs market, been that way for
brokers forever. I know some brokers like IB you can set stops to
execute in the after hrs but you have to set it up, it's not
default like that
again guys get in the habit of checking for earnings, they are
listed on the trade ideas in the newsletters and on the website,
the information is there for you to see, see the attached image
from the trade ideas from BPT, shows the earning date listed there
for IRBT and others. just treat it as a hard lesson
that changes your habits to always check now for earnings on stocks
you are holding. and again our website populates them for the trade
ideas automatically in the tables
just like new ideas Steve put out last night, you can see the
nice clean table here with earnings dates, ISBC reports today, VLO
and HBAN reports tomorrow. Use the information here at hand
