Triggers
Been here for over a year now and learned so much. Thanks to
Matt and Steve and such helpful posters like Mia. However I hear it
said frequently that it’s not enough to have a pattern. We must
have a trigger off of the pattern to take the trade. I see doji
candlesticks mentioned. But curious as to what other “triggers”
people use to enter a trade after they see a pattern develop.
I know it seems like a simple question but just looking to
keep learning more. Thanks
jerkelly- that's something I would like to put together more
educational pieces on over time. I've shown a lot of things
over the years, but it's buried piece-mail in the blog and
newsletters. Needs to be in a section dedicated. The
reversion to mean setups - those have very very set triggers over
doji candlesticks, stops, target areas etc.

That would be super-useful to have all in one place.
