Yeah ... not a market for this kind of play .... which is
why I have a quick trigger these days ... I book profit quicker
than usual ... and have less tolerance for anything that moves
against me ...
yep, there's a time to hit 'singles' and a time you can try to
hit home runs 'swings', quite a few people don't understand that
you can't always swing stuff and think you can just follow one
formula one. For example I've actually had people write in
that tell me they only want trade ideas they can hold for 6 months
LOL.
sizing is important too .... there's a time to size up ... and
times to size down .... right now ... it's a time to size down for
me ... and If I get to many "failed attempts", stops, etc...
I usually pause it ... no point in churning your account for the
sake of doing trades .... the urge to trade is like holding a smart
phone for some ... they can't put it down ... lol
Well stated by both you and Matt. I too have a quick
trigger finger on the sell button these days and keep my
position size modest. Got in on/out of IQ today with a $0.75
per share gain. Was hoping this would be one of those
$2.00-$3.00 up days when it broke resistance this morning, but it
was obvious early on it was not meant to be. Will take what they
give.
IQ ... Update ... Nice
