subdivide etc, so by the time wave 3 is in it will be a lot longer
than wave 1. Too early to call anything definitive, it's also
why we don't post these very often because just leads to

Just eyeballing it, your (3) is about as long as (1). But shouldn't it be longer? i.e., 3's are long compared to 1's and 5's.
