Slightly confused on Gold. Lately it seems an inverse of the
market. Rallies on crash/fear days, sideways for years while the
market rallied, if we are bullish on the market for now, seems hard
to be bullish on Gold at the same time. Dollar broke down a while
ago, Gold didn't b/out. Managed a couple day trades on the miners,
and NUGT awesome call off that wedge around 23... but generally
lacked conviction to hold anything. The relationship confuses
me...will just day trade em when they are hot til i grasp it.
one thing I'll say, and Steve will confirm this. Gold stocks are
amount the hardest things to trade, until they really get going
strongly in a trend. They are amongst the worst stocks
for following through on momentum.
