yes for daily charts that trade with the cash market, there are
390 min in the day.
however for futures charts that trade 23 hrs a day you can use
1440 min charts, which essentially gives you a daily bar. Why
would one do that if it ends up looking just like a daily chart?
Because you can set custom time sessions that can be useful
