In last night's newsletter, Steve was saying that the VIX was
bullishly stacked and that he was feeling more cautious about any
SPY upside than he has in quite a while.
Given this, would buying XIV for this Trend Trade signal be more
risky than usual??
To be clear, my $VIX comments related to the 60
minute chart which remains coiled (respect a break in either
direction) for short term. In the intermediate term, some
caution is warranted going forward (that certainly doesn't preclude
a bounce)
