AAPL system which went long on 5/17 closed out on Friday.
I have not been sending out trade signals to this strategy,
this last one went long when I was in FL on vacation. However
I may start sending out trade signals to this system. I might
also develop systems on the other FANG stocks as well, not sure
yet.
One other thing - I've finally completed the new Breakout sub
system and added it to the SPY system. I will officially be sending
signals out for this in the future. The breakout system will
help for times when the market has very low volatility where
there's not enough of a pullback for the other sub systems to
trigger a trade. You can see the system would have taken a
long trade on 2/10 to 2/17, and went long on 5/25 just recently and
is still long. The breakout system has a tight trailing stop
as well, for example after even a small 0.6% gain, a trailing stop
starts at 0.1% and then moves up from there.
I will discuss in more detail in a newsletter but that's an
update on the systems
here's an example of the current SPY breakout trade, which went
long in Feb and again on May 25th, notice how tight the stop is
now, the stop i
s now at 242.68, very tight as current price of SPY is 243.72.
Just showing an example that once it has some profit, it
protects it pretty quickly

AAPL signals would be great, too. Trading these systems
gives a great foundation to whatever discretionary trading I
do.

Thanks for adding the breakout to the system. I ONLY trade
systems such as the SPY Pro system, so I appreciate the opportunity
to trade more often. To me, SPY, QQQ and DIA would be the ultimate
trading system using your rules. And I would love the addition of
AAPL and other FANG stocks. I'm behind you 100%!
thanks guys - obviously the frustrating thing about system is
that you are always like DAMN, wish I had this in effect 3 months
ago, but it's always a process, chicken and the egg kind of thing.
At least we'll have it in place now going forward and the
breakout system will catch low volatility times and with
exceedingly tight stops. Which I will also look to ultimately
break the trailing stops to the other sub systems as well.
It's all a process and develops over time, thx for all the
patience!
