Intra day here I can't go into this too in-depth, however an
FYI, something changed on our backend with Stockcharts.com that is
going to greatly lower our efficiency at adding charts to the
newsletters and here to the blog. We had a very slick custom
method of being able to have our server talk to Stockcharts.com and
pull charts, this is what allowed Steve and I to be able to
basically add the huge sheer number of charts to newsletters and
the blog. Now we have to do it manually again, thus the
newsletters going forward will likely be quite a bit shorter.
Many of you might not think that's a bad thing of course, but
it greatly adds to the time it takes us to do them so it's quite
disappointing for us. Also the Stockchart.com URL's that you
are used to seeing in the newsletters, they will no longer be
available as well. Our system had automated adding them, it's
too much work for us to manually add those. hope you
understand, it will be far more frustrating for us than it will be
for you because the newsletters might now take us a lot longer to
do.

Hi Matt,
please specify an emailaddress that we can write to - and I'm
sure a bunch of us will do that. Also add this info to the
newsletter email text and actual content, so more people can
react.
All BPT members should register this concern with Stockcharts.
I've been up to Seattle and have met them; they're nice guys, but
their charting platform is antiquated. And if they're going
backwards instead of forwards in terms of ease of use, it's even
worse. I think they will pay attention if sufficient numbers
register complaints. Matt, what's the specific change that should
be requested undone?
the problem is you can't even call someone on the phone at
Stockcharts. When you met with you you should have gotten
their number LOL. it's really annoying though
It's been a while, but I might be able to track down some
contact info. I wonder if it would be possible to maintain your
nightly chartlist on a non-public basis, just sending a link to
members each night while you do the audio overlay separately.
But I would also like to press them on not taking functionality
from you. What is the technical change being forced on you?
Another thought: I and maybe many others wouldn't subscribe
except for what you and Steve do, so if there's a better
alternative, I would be happy to ditch them.
Important! please read

I agree we should react to stockcharts. just give us exact address and what to request from them.
