SPY Pro System

It looks as though the 60 Stochastic is crossing just above the 20 level (?).  Would SPY Pro system look to add to longs today?

    yes of course, system is

yes of course, system is staying long.

In fact my ES system, which is long from the Trend Trade, the fact that the 60 Stochastic got oversold means it may attempt to hold the trade for longer or a bigger winning trade than it normally would.  For the Trend trades, those occur in uptrends, and the 60 Stochastic rarely gets oversold during trend trades because since you are in an uptrend you typically don't get huge flush down pullbacks, over 20 years the 60 Stochastic as only gotten oversold 3 times on the trend trades.  Thus I have a condition where it will hold the trade longer vs selling out for a tiny profit.  Now for the SPY system it is NOT long via the trend trade, but via the RSI 40, however that system requires higher prices and is no where close to closing it out

one thing non system wise, we are in earnings season, the market has typically held up during earnings season for years now, that doesn't mean that this time is different but it's something to consider

Matt the SPY Pro system trade table has the SPY Buy on September 12 and Sold on Sept 22! So how come is currently in the trade? guess you have to an update?

Also it mentioned the is in SSO on September 13th!

    that was explained in detailed

Posted by matt on 18th of Oct 2016 at 03:38 pm

that was explained in detailed in newsletters and emails and blog.  Was in a long trade, we sold when one of the sub systems 60 Stochastic went short, then when that system covered we went back long since the RSI 40 was still long.

there are two ways to view or trade the system.

    1. Report the system trades with all the sub systems combined

    2. Report what the individual sub systems are doing, which means there will be overlap at times where multiple systems can be in a trade at the same time, such as two systems could be long and one short for example

As I discussed in the future I am going to count the combined system officially for the website, but I will report what the individual systems are doing for those of you who wish to follow that.  The current trade may be a little confusing on the website because I chose to use the combined systems, but I made the execuative decsion going forward to officually use the combined stats on the website stats only, but will report what the individual systems are doing as well.  I will clear up the entries and exits when this main one is completed.  For now focus on your trading

    Ok thanks!
