sure you do, AMP futures for example you can trade 1 ES contract
per $500, you could easily do these trades with 1000 bucks in an
account. Clearly I think one should have more, but if it's
quick reversion to mean trades that you are not holding, margin is
small.

don't trade futures unless you have a plan/system. Use Ninja Trader, trade on SIM for a while to refine your method and entries
