Is the trigger price for AER short a closing price or intra-day price?

    coolhat - it's intra day.

coolhat - it's intra day.  However one thing that I've pointed out is that shorts are much harder than bottoming plays for this method because they are very strong and can continue higher - always make sure to look at a 60 min chart and other time frames, it's best if you see a wedge pattern or divergence.  AER has some divergence, I drew a pattern in.  On the daily you could move the trigger down to the doji low of yesterday instead at 37.75

    Thanks Matt. I shorted on

Thanks Matt. I shorted on Tuesday when intra-day price was below 38.15 trigger. The stock traded down but closed above where I shorted it. I have a stop in place a little higher to see if it works...
