GDX - Chart Link - as I said before, I can
take many of the rules from the XLE swing system that I've shown
the statistics for and apply them to other bullish percent charts
in order to create new trending systems, such as to the BPSPX for
SPX, or BPNDX for Nasdaq, or BPGDM for GDX etc. Thus I'm
going to do away with the BPGDM GDX system that uses the 8 day MA
and replace it with this never version that uses some of the same
logic as the XLE system.
Here's a chart which shows some of the signals, as you can see
it's quite a bit smoother, doesn't catch exact tops and bottoms,
but it's not supposed to, it's suppose to simply catch most of the
trend i.e. 80% etc. Less whipsaws and trends more.
Anyway I have not had time to do the statistics nor all the
rules, for time savings I may just keep this BPGDM system really
simple.
However honestly I have a lot of things and goals that I would
like to achieve for BPT this month, lots of loose ends to
tie:
1. Getting a new home page up (the current one is from 2004!
2. Adding the XLE swing system to the website in the mechanical
systems section
3. Added the revised BPGDM GDX system to the Mech systems
section
4. Adding the SPX RSI 2 systems to the Mech System section
5. Adding a separate futures trading service to BPT (separate
chat room, trades called etc)
These are the things that I'll be working on this month and thus
not posting as much on the blog

I know how time consuming and mentally draining system development can be. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Matt
