Monday Afternoon we made a change as to which page of the blog
would be the default view.
In the past this default page was the
threaded view, which shows posts grouped
together by chronological order of the parent post.
However, it now defaults to the recent view.
The reason we made this change is that the recent view has been
changed to auto-update over the course of the day. We
believe that this makes the recent view a more useful tool to day
traders who are interested in catching information about the market
as it becomes available.
However, the old
threaded view is still available if you
click on "View All" under topics. We are thinking of ways to make
this more clear, and if anyone has any suggestions we would love to
hear them in a PM.

I would like to see the useful dynamic stockcharts access moved
to the Resources box below pivots. Then if you need a chart
you would have access to it without changing pages.
FWIW -- I open the useful dynamic charts page in a separate tab
right next to the blog, makes it easy to just go there and look at
something. This is actually easier than having a link on the
blog page and loading it each time you want it....

I would like to see a code (numbers?) to distinguish latest
posts within a thread. When the thead gets long and intertwined it
is a little time consuming to find the latest post. I know you can
see the latest post on "recent" but I still like to use the "view
all" more

sorry I brought it up. seemed like a nice way to enhance the
threaded view to me. Often opinions are asked only to be met by a
barrage of how the status quo is just right!
now currently the auto refresh only works on the 'View All
Recent', eventually we will have auto refresh work in 'View All'
threaded, but that's a bigger job then it looks.
So in short, just use the blog how you prefer and what you
like best

sorry I brought it up.

you guys can use the blog however you want to:
If you prefer using ' View All ' to see the threaded format, then use that
http://breakpointtrades.com/blog/topic/All-Topics/1/
If you like seeing each new post in a chronological fashion in a non-threaded format, then use ' View All Recent '
http://breakpointtrades.com/blog/recent/All-Topics/1/
now currently the auto refresh only works on the 'View All Recent', eventually we will have auto refresh work in 'View All' threaded, but that's a bigger job then it looks.
So in short, just use the blog how you prefer and what you like best
