Hello everyone, the bugs have been fixed for the new Dividend
Section! The sort feature now works correctly and we also
added some additional stocks to the Canroy section.
Also some future additions that we plan to add are a link to a
weekly and daily Stockchart, as well as possibly a email function
where you could have the list automatically send you an email ahead
of time before a stock goes ex dividend etc.
Have you considered posting some charts on the newsletters in
which the company has both a strong chart pattern and an
approaching ex dividend date?..Thanks
Great. Can I add a couple of suggestions. When selecting a
dividend stock, I look for data on the safety of the dividend
(probably some measure of profitability vs divident cost and some
history of dividend growth over time.
If someone has an interest in an in depth analysis of trading
dividend stocks I'd suggest taking a look at
Investment
Quality Trends which will have a lot more info than I
imagine BPT is going to want to get into (although Matt you may
want to take a look in case you could work out a deal to share some
info???). They have been around a long time and have excellent
Hulbert rankings. Basic idea is to buy high quality companies when
the yield is in the high part of historical range which tells you
that based on history the company is undervalued.
Great new addition... It might be nice though to seek right to
the secion of stocks about to go ex-dividend. I sorted by date then
had to treverse threw quite a few pages to get to the current
date. Other than that its awesome!
