Ive noticed similar action in past on certain stocks after a newsletter mention; they pop fast. Could be those fund Pros making moves that follow BPT or just the market...

Sold long time T holding before it dropped on their deal; been buying into VZ since.  Prefer VZ fundamentally and technically.  Hit major support recently so limited downside IMO. Possibly for T as well but lacking fundamentals; T is a share dilution machine.

I do a somewhat similar strategy w/ 3-6 mos out calls, but Ive learned to not just 'buy and hold' options; must play the cycles. I always remind myself the other side of an options contract is typ an algo, so have conviction. Paper trade your strategy first...

Traded in/out SPX options today and not impressed w/ market action. Internals getting exhausted w/ minimal effort...very weak.

Matt - What are the exit conditions for QE BTS? Does that sub trigger at close or following day open?  Want to keep an eye out - hesitant to hold options over this weekend.  Thanks.

This is one of the charts Ive been monitoring. 5000 has been my target and likely a magnet at this pt, possibly w/in months.

Daily Coil on GILD. Looks bullish. Has been nice trade this year. 75ish target. 

XLU - Strong straight up Trend day. Strength could be viewed as concerning for market going forward. Has been great trade out of flag.

Last 3 months of daily price action going into SPY monthly opex look very similar. Buyers came in around those times to drive market higher.

4415 ticks looks like a reasonable target. May exit if it looks to get rejected there.

Bought pre-market. Seems like close to a flush as you can get...at least for a trade.

Im targeting 158ish TLT / 170ish $USB based on sum of analysis, which may happen during next (larger) pullback in a flight to quality. Dont think rates have hit bottom yet. TLT chart is bullish. 

Next target on non-div adjusted basis is 71 right before covid crash. Entered when Matt showed bull flag few wks back...nice price action since. 3% div also.
