Got in late, stop loss at 14.30 doesn't feel like much room, but we shall see.   This one could run quite a bit.

rsi 14 is overbought, but in the past some parabola took a year to play out.  Sorry for the formatting

Fear is the mind killer, stay calm and trade what you see in front of you, this may be a great opportunity.

These are time when people

Posted by steveo on 7th of Apr 2025 at 03:17 am

These are time when people feel like the world is ending.   It won't, there will always be something there on the other side, although the banksters will have probably stopped out and scared out 50% of the crowd.   This time might be different, but not likely.

But lets just deal with the M2 money supply drama.    Fed didnt start keeping track in the current way since 1959, so claiming that money supply as M2 guarantees a depression and double digit unemployment is disingenuous, and extrapolation back to 1870 is questionable and best and certainly no proper way to do it.

Look at M2 a different way....the actual amount out there, not the rate of change.

I put your chart on AI and said analyze this chart from Matt....and it said....Great question — and yes, this chart looks like it includes a hand-drawn annotation labeled “reverse divergence” on the MACD, presumably by Matt (possibly Matt from BPT or a similar analysis community).

Let’s clarify what reverse divergence means in this context.

so deska....a lower low from the Aug 2024 crash and spike up

For those who have never

For those who have never Grokked the MACD Crossover, and the MACD Divergence, I put together a discussion, in particular for Amazon.    In 2022 there was true MACD Divergence and then a big run up.   Now we have a MACD crossover, but also having just bounced out of a trashing of RSI14 oversold.   Its at my blog....and a discussion of whether this is a buy, without the divergence, I am thinking of a scale in, give it some room with stop below the trendline, half size position.

AMZN intriguing to me into next week - some call ...

This is an international chemical

Posted by steveo on 21st of Mar 2025 at 09:02 pm

This is an international chemical company that pays annual dividend around 7% (they have lost a bunch of value, so that makes the dividend look higher).    Quarterly, and they just went Ex so you ahve to wait almost 3 months, but in 2022 and 2023 they did a bonus May dividend

Is this a low risk entry?
