GDX wave C down of 4 looks like.  

It seems that GLD/GDX and SPY have a -1 correlation now.  

Matt - one of the key things you said is "things are not static", systems always have to be evolving because business cycles, news, institutional buying, fed rates, etc.. are always changing.  

Funny I was looking at the chart last night and I did notice the moving averages were all sloping down, upon a quick daily view you would think it was in a triangle and going to break out to the upside but when you looked closer and the weekly chart it told a different story (which is playing out today).  

GBTC doesn't seem to like "impeachment" news either.  What is the correlation between SPX and GBTC?  

went to all cash on 9/12.    Unless Trump "tweets" or China signs a deal, I do not see what is going to push this thing higher.  May need one more flush before the end of year rally.

Miners was already on a short term sell and Gold had bearish Div.  The cycle in Gold is weak coming into August.  Sell the news.
