Steve's liquidity graphfrom his buddy Fred!

I'm hearing that they are going to throw in a free Newton (1992-93) with each purchase!!!  I'm sure they have a few lying around somewhere! LOL

Let's not forget about the clowns running these banks and there are plenty of them.  Getting themselves stuck with long term bond holdings.  Then paying 0.01% interest to depositors!   Obviously not able to attract more money.

The big downside to this tech will make people even lazier than they are now.  Users will rely in AI to do all the thinking for them.  More time for video games I guess as people continue the trend to stupider and lazier.

I just asked it to write an ABAP program (SAP's programming language) to get the current fiscal year for a company.  It worked!!!  You just need to be very specific about what you want.

Matt - have you tried MS Edge?  It typically uses less memory than Chrome.

This is awesome Matt.  It will be a fantastic tool!!!

This is awesome Matt.  The one thing I would like to see is the date the status changes (long, flat) so we can see the signal date.  Thanks!!!

Question is - is FTX Bear Stearns?  What dominos will follow?  The FED isn't bailing this one out, right???

There is definitely a buyers' strike here in LV.   It's likely most of those withdrawals were newbies within the past 2-4 years that really never did that good.

It's a terrible experience every day.  They have something to learn about dealing directly with end customers.

Hi Matt - Can the KISS system also be used for inverse ETF plays as well?  If so, have you tested it to see how it performs?  I noticed the red line near the end of August.  Is that an inverse buy signal?  Thanks Paul

IMO, it's the pace that has barely begun of QT that investors should be looking at going forward.

Along with rate increases, the Fed is reducing the size of asset holdings on its nearly $9 trillion balance sheet. Beginning in June, the Fed began allowing some of the proceeds from maturing bonds to roll off.

The balance sheet has declined just $16 billion since the beginning of the roll-off, though the Fed set a cap of up to $47.5 billion that potentially could have been wound down. The cap will rise through the summer, eventually hitting $95 billion a month by September. The process is known in markets as “quantitative tightening” and is another mechanism the Fed uses to impact financial conditions.

Along with the accelerated balance sheet runoff, markets expect the Fed to raise rates at least another half percentage point in September. Traders Wednesday afternoon were assigning about a 53% chance the central bank would go even further, with a third straight 0.75 percentage point, or 75 basis points, increase in September, according to CME Group data.

Here's an alternative to the stock market for those interested.

I - Bonds from the US Treasury paying over 9% - you have to keep them for 12 months.  Max $10K per calendar year can be purchased.
