I have that indicator set up on multiple time frames now too, would love to hear more how you are using it.

I have not had a chance to look at the code or backtest the Blackdog strategy, but I have been watching it on the NQ 2min the last day and a half.  I have noticed that the "long" and "short" bubbles as well as some of the arrows "repaint"  - they could be there and then when the next bar completes, they could be gone  - or even two bars later.  This makes the strategy look better than it might be in "real time" .  Having said that, it has helped me be ready for a potential direction change.

I live on a farm in PA the farmer there said his cost for fertilizer last year was 50k and this year 100k... so that 20% reduction might help for next year.... too late for this year at least in PA

@Kobie - I was watching and waiting for your "Boom!". lol.   Thanks for all your posts... I'm dipping my toe in futures and paper trading the 5 min  - love your setups.

I ran into the same issue  trying to hedge with VXX in the past.  I found that VXX is not just like VIX.  VXX is based on the volatility futures 1 month and 2 months out.  So if the market thinks that 1 to 2 months out the volatility will not be that big, VXX does not move that much.  In fact I had noticed that in some cases VIX goes up while VXX goes down.  So, if your looking for a short term hedge, I wouldn't use VXX if you are looking for longer term bear market hedge, then maybe VXX would work out.
