I first joined BPT back

Posted by petermusic on 24th of Nov 2025 at 06:52 pm

I first joined BPT back in 2010. One of the first times I interacted with Steve was a phone call going over some trading techniques that he had been talking about in a series of fabulous seminars that he had released around that time period - mostly illustrating trading  survival approaches after the washout to 666. My phone call with Steve lasted well over 2 hours and only stopped when his wife was waiting for him to have dinner! Extremely illuminating without any trace of impatience on his part dealing with me. It was clear that I knew pretty much nothing. No matter. I have learned a lot since then from both Steve and Matt. BPT is a great place to learn. Steve, thanks for all of the knowledge - we will all miss you. I wish you and your family the very best. Peter

Steve: Small remaining gap from yesterday on SP (not ES) - could you call this an island top with that small gap remaining even though it overlapped the Friday low?

Steve: In that zone now from your post last weekend - resistance @ 5698 - still valid?

yes I have noticed this too, although it is sporadic. To be sure, convert pdf to jpg or png. There are converters on line for free

/ES 5286 bounce  now 5336

/ES 5286 bounce  now 5336 reject (so far) awesome levels today Steve

obviously in chop mode here but you have an upside for /ES of 5439 then 5469 with a downside of 5457-5445 so they are overlapping which happens every once in a while from what I've noticed - perhaps that is screaming CHOP stay away ?

Steve: Thoughts on these areas

Posted by petermusic on 15th of Apr 2025 at 01:08 pm

Steve: Thoughts on these areas where we are in overlapping upside and downside zones?

Matt: While we are on this subject I made a copy of your chart in Trading View and have been using it quite well, it's named Only cycles,ribbons..... Is that the set up you are using when discussing this system or do you have one that is further refined? BTW a webinar on this would be great!

Thanks to you and Matt as well for this. Would you please provide the exact time this happened on the 1 minute? I would love to be able to track this myself and I'm sure others would as well TIA

SPX and QQQ

Steve-beautiful call on market structure. Pretty sure you will say look at a larger time frame-but just looking at that 10 minute chart you posted last night we now have a lower high in place with this morning's action at SP 6121.87( yesterday's last 10min candle) . So wouldn't 6121.87 to the near term top at 6147.43 now be considered fresh supply?

nice chart
