SPX Monthly since the 80's... something I look at every
couple weeks to keep things in perspective ... there's a lot
of room bellow to fill and we would still be in an uptrend ...
not predicting anything here as I have no idea what's gonna
happen ... but the last two nasty bear market we got retraced about
50ish % of the total rally .... We are probably more
than overdue for a nasty one at some point ... maybe in a
year or two? ...
Market folding again ... VIX coiled .... probably need to
get a good rip in the low to mid 30's to put in some kind of bottom
... i'm just not that interested in shorting down here but
nothing stick more than a day on the long side ... ... so pretty
much cash and waiting for the most part ...
Many are frisky about keeping it overnight .... but at
least we didn't get heavy selling into the close ... better a weak
open and gap down and closing higher than the opposite like we've
had lately ...
