SBUX ...  this is one of my longest multiyear holding  ... almost a decade now...  ....  I find separating  long term holdings VS trading works better for me as I sometimes lack discipline regarding this ...  so by segregating them, I treat them like a different pool  ...  so the only discipline I need  is set VERY loose stops based on weekly and monthly charts ONLY and don't login  often to the accounts so that you don't get tempted to cash in the gains ... lol ...  like someone who as a drinking problem ... stay away from places that serve alcohol, it will help you remove the temptation hahaha ...

GOLD / ABX.to  Had really good earnings this week, a big DIV increase  ....  AND ... a VERY nice weekly looking chart ...

Which is why I didn't take profit on it yesterday  ...  I find this commodity and many other commodities actually always seems to overshoot a move  in both directions ... coffee can do it in a spectacular fashion as we've seen it so many times before  ...  I unfortunately didn't add enough to my initial position ... 

But it sure can last much longer than most think it can ....  

W (Wayfair) ... I had this one on my watch list for a trade before earnings ... I guess it's off the long watch list now ... ;)   they just announced a 3% cut of their workforce ... stating the high cost to run the business .... I guess this is a warning shot for the upcoming  earnings  on 02/28 ...

What I believe and my opinions vs  how I trade are two different things ...  problem is many can't split them apart and ruin their trading results from it ...    

ASHR .... that this thing isn't down way more than that considering how so much things are grinding to a halt in china is mind boggling ... but like the S&P and pretty much everything else  ... it's not trading "naturally" ...  anyone thinking it's a "free market" out there , send me your email ... I have some unicorn embryos and pixie dust to sell you ...
