Possibly deeper pulback into 4400 that makes the SPY system make multiple entries before the bottom. Many discussed indicators showing potential buy, but for what its worth I  have a system I developed that still isnt at buy pt yet. In past pullbacks it typ coincides with SPY system but not this time. 

Outside BB today; took some off table. I like the trend but didnt think it would run to 4800 by today.

Got it; makes sense Matt.  I know its extra work, but hope you consider providing both SPX + ES triggers - allows for more trade signals.  This has been quite a meltup. Happy holidays all!

Quite interesting. With market this extended, is Breakout prone to false signals in ST?

I found 2d DVT to be quite useful. SPX would often times pullback to that level before rebounding.

GILD ex-div Tues. Had some false breakouts this yr but looks poised to go higher based on Daily+Weekly charts. 

I know you had to take the Zoom cycles page down and were working on bringing it back in some form. Any status of that? It would be nice to see SPX cycles during the day again, or at least the cycles tab updated periodically during the day somehow. As subscribers, we dont see what it takes to put this all together so not sure whats realistic. 

Matt - I would advocate to not blend these systems together. As you state they have different purposes. A trading plan isnt like a fast food item; everyone needs to develop their own methodology and find what works. Many dont appreciate it takes a lot of time/reading and not the same for each person.  I have several trade strategies based on setup and separate systems work. Thanks again.

I regularly sell SPY covered calls; need to time well w/ cycles to be consistently successful. Once correction has started premiums drop and I dont find it worth time/risk for desired strike.  Your selling Vol w/ big tail risk if you have to cover during unexpected runs/rebound. One bad trade wipes out many small gains.

Thanks for these level insights Steve / Matt. Closed overnight calls near 4565 based on weak strength into that push. Will look to re-enter again. Been volatile but fun playing these bounces lately. 

quite late to the shorting party at these levels. plan for reversals instead.

Ive noticed similar action in past on certain stocks after a newsletter mention; they pop fast. Could be those fund Pros making moves that follow BPT or just the market...

Sold long time T holding before it dropped on their deal; been buying into VZ since.  Prefer VZ fundamentally and technically.  Hit major support recently so limited downside IMO. Possibly for T as well but lacking fundamentals; T is a share dilution machine.
