Seems to me that for proper tracking there should be some
definitive rules for the STS. Stop should be STS, stop should be 1%
below STS, stop should be close below STS.

I was not being critical! I guess if you're trading 100 shares
the risk/reward makes some sense. I'll NEVER trade any issue that
doesn't have an average volume of 1 million+ shares traded daily.
Seen too many people screwed on bid/ask on those thinly traded
issues.

Question on GDX chart:
I can clearly see the lows of 28.33 & 28.40 on GDX on your
Stockcharts chart, however, on TDAmeritrade as well as Yahoo the
lows on the same day are 28.83 & 28.90. Any idea about why that
may be?

I'm likely one of, if not, the oldest trader here at 66 and have
long used the industry standard of the 17 month MA. That currently
stands at 2900.36, so if we used that benchmark along with the
61.8% retrace at 2934.49 along with this symmetry move of Matt's at
2893 I think we can all agree there is a strong headwind just
ahead.

If this is the current cart design I see issues.
1.) Where does a person with small child or baby set the child in this cart?
2.) A purchase such as toilet paper or paper towels in bulk will take up 30-40% of cart because of no bottom rack.
Perhaps they shop differently in other countries but in US I see issues.

Steve,
This is a serious question! How does one trade a stock/ETF that has an average volume of 24,000 shares traded daily with a .10+ spread?
I do realize the first answer is very carefully!
