Apart from the question of whether there is a solid long trigger
on the daily (there isn't), UNG is a lousy instrument because of
the slippage due to the nature of ETFs, with UNG being a
particularly egregious example. So, given the slippage when
holding, I would not want to hold UNG for a long time unless I have
a clear trend reversal to positive, with a higher low to use as a
stop. I'd even rather hold a long-dated call or call spread.

Internals better than 2 to 1 positive. Watching SPY for a higher
low trigger on 5 min chart. Candle trigger would be 1. hammer, 2.
engulfing, 3. close above high of low candle. Also watching the 38%
retrace area around 211.42.

Sorry, I just saw this or I would have posted earlier. FB break
out of an inverse head and shoulders. The measured move corresponds
with the upper Bollinger band on the daily chart.
Nice chart! As a cup and handle swing trade, it's not too late
to get in based on my understanding of when this pattern triggers.
I.e., trigger is a break (and hold EOD) over the high of the
handle. So, couldn't you get in tomorrow if it doesn't gap?
Yesterday was a lower high - I'm not at all optimistic. Sold 1/2
my position around 132 last week, sold the rest today. We will see,
but I'm not holding at this point given the chart.

CAT up pre-market on earnings. Here's some interesting stats.
Price should close around 89.50 based on average up move of 1.9%
over pre-market.
CAT is due to issue its quarterly earnings report in the upcoming
extended-hours session. Given its history, traders can expect very
active trading in the issue immediately following its quarterly
earnings announcement. Historical earnings event related premarket
and after-hours trading activity in CAT indicates that the price
change in the extended hours is likely to be of limited value in
forecasting additional price movement by the following regular
session close.
Last 12 Qtrs Positive Only Price Reactions:
Percent of time added to extended-hours gains: 25%
Over the prior three fiscal years (12 quarters), when shares of
CAT rose in the extended-hours session in reaction to its earnings
announcement, history shows that 25.0% of the time (1 event) the
stock posted additional gains in the following regular session by
an average of 1.9%.Average next regular session additional gain:
1.9%

FEYE - low risk long if you use the 50ma as a support reference.
FEYE regained the 50ma for the second time in the last 2 weeks. If
it holds EOD, I may buy with a stop just below Friday's lows.
