While checking on my own paint dry system for my 401k, no sell has been given but I did notice that this SPY drop has been about 54 points high to low. The 3 month total drop for SPY in 2018 was about 59 points. The next month was a 37 point bounce from a V bottom! If, and this is just a comparison, we went to 280 low and matched the same point drop (albeit in a week vs 3 months) we would bounce next month to 317. Just a positive calmer way to look at this. And this is not advice or prediction! 

I keep waiting for circuit breakers to go off, don't they do this anymore? 

Ssaffer, I so agree with this... Matt and Steve said it would be best for a gap down and recovery for a possible rebound so I hung in there and walked away too. I'm glad I did; having a trading plan from the beginning is a must... in trading nothing good ever comes from panic...

Call me crazy, I just bought a little SPY at 321.7

I see some divergence on rsi 15 min chart on SPY. I know there is a gap at 321.7ish. Maybe it wants to fill?

BTW, I'm assuming you will be able to give a signal near end of market if SPY system triggers? 

I think you did the right thing even if missed by pennies. Keeping the system automated should prevent having to second guess too much.

I have to ask, do you know how often you will be updating? For instance, if the 2 hr trend system takes an entry, will you update that day during the day or more like end of day? I know you are busy and this is an extra responsibility, that's why I ask.

I've never traded that one but I feel like it looks a lot like MJ, which is a pot stock etf;  I'm in that one. 

They both look like they are trying to carve out a base to me.

I'm not a huge fan of sites that do this.  At least they should let someone share access with a limited number of people, say 2-3 friends/family.  Netflix and Amazon do this. My kids would never be able to afford or watch any streaming without...
