I just checked the link and it appears to be working fine, what issue are you experiencing?

There were a bunch of SLV alerts sent out for the high performance section this morning. There was an issue where the database wasn't updating sent alerts that has since been resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The data was loaded to the server but the script never ran to update the datatables, I have done that now and generated emails for you guys, sorry for the delay.

I've actually already done a good chunk of the work for this, but it's not exactly the same as the High Performance section because the signals are coming from an indicator instead of a trading strategy. Once everything is finalized on the high performance section we'll come back and add that feature to the normal KISS stuff.

There's a link to the ES levels from twitter on the sticky, here it is again, you can follow along there while Steve is gone.

Had some trouble setting up

Posted by James_Roe on 16th of Aug 2024 at 02:53 pm

Had some trouble setting up filtered SMS messages for favorites on the High Performance tab, and as a result we definitely missed some messages today, but they should be good to go moving forward.

Looking at it at the moment, will update when I have it resolved.

Does a plus in front fix it.

Looks like it's working for me after I reload the page, but I'll get it working so you don't need to reload.

I'll get it sorted, thanks for flagging it.

We have a hand off that's based on a couple of indicators including our proprietary trending MA, that widens the stops.

From our backrest results it often gives you a lot more alpha. Basically a tight stop when the trade starts, and then a wider stop after it starts moving to allow more upside while protecting profits.

I just made a change to the favorites for the high performance section so that you can set a specific time period as favorite rather than just the whole symbol, for instance you can favorite only the 130 minute SPY or the 195 minute SPY.

Unfortunately I had to delete the current favorites table to accommodate this change, fortunately it looks like only two of you had set favorites so far. We will delay turning on SMS filtering for favorites for a day or two so that people have time to go in and set their favorites.

Looks like you just set your SPY and $INX favorites yesterday so they wouldn't have been included in any friday email.

I have implemented a change to the SMS that makes the time frame more obvious.

You can now set favorites

You can now set favorites on the high performance section, I will also implement it so that you only get SMS messages for your favorites, and so that you receive an end of day email for your favorites moving forward.

I also fixed an issue that caused UPRO 30 to say it was going long while it was already in a trade earlier today.

Unlike the daily KISS systems each high performance system was back tested so there is some variability there, but with both the daily KISS systems and the high performance systems there is no hard stop percentage. We use a variety of indicators to calculate good stops including but not limited to RSI, MACD, ATRS, and moving averages.

It's unfortunately a bit of a black box for you guys, but that's our secret sauce.

The favorites for the high performance do not currently work, I'll be pushing an update later today that fixes it, but it is an entirely separate list from your daily kiss favorites.

Many of our day traders wanted to use KISS on shorter timeframes, ie: with more signals. It probably won't fit everyone's trading styles, but you could simply trade it in the evening like the normal KISS systems and expect some positive and negative slippage depending on the signal.

The major advantage it has is that the STS levels for the high performance beta are hard stops so you don't need to confirm closing prices.

You can send me a DM, thanks for flagging this.

Tradestation defaults to 0 for a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly bar for the bar length.

We currently only have daylies, I'll do something tomorrow to make it read as 390 even though TS is sending us 0 for that length.
