Without answering your question directly, I would say follow the ratio yourself for a while. I've been watching it for two to three years. See how it fits into your trading style. That's what I had to figure out. I will say that the Bollinger Bands are useful in the same way as Matt talks about them on the daily ratio. But again, you have to get to know it.

No change in structure as stated - bulls held serve and bears squeezed overnight 

ES gapped down then quickly reclaimed 6028 (prior support zone) and again with 6035 reclaim up to 6072 

CRML also nice (not a low float play like RBNE and STAK)

something I'm experimenting with.  Added a mean reversion component. normally mean reversion systems do not have stop at first, but in the KISS system these are only allowed to occur if KISS is in a trade, and if the mean version trade doesn't exit on its own, it will stop out when the system does, so it has a stop. From what I've seen adds 30% to 70% to the gains, here's SPY daily and SPX daily. I have experimented with adding it to all the intra day stuff, but not sure I would use that for the HP systems as it adds a lot more trades.  Just something I'm experimenting with
