Thanks for this post. You may be aware that I concentrate on listening to your longer trend identifications whenever you do the (especially the week-end) newsletter. I profited greatly in 2020 with your gold monthly chart and got on board at 1300 with the move to 2000. Then  your Uranium longer term charts have made CCJ and URA tickers that keep on giving. The dollar move last year also with UUP.  Early 2022 we had both you and Steve going bearish on SPY , QQQ etc. So another 6-8 months out meant lovely trades. I only trade Debit spreads but often look for big winners on weekly to monthly charts. Often I only have three or four option trades open for quite some time but that suits my trading profile as my nerves aren't what they used to be. But I do still prefer the futures contracts on SPY/ES trades. With New Zealand time I do find that the SPY/QQQ options do not do as well as the futures which are much more flexible time wise.  

Just a thought, it may be a good idea if you do a short newsletter from time to time on longer term trends.

Even though I cannot be awake at open time for the market I will continue to take my positions at the End of day with both futures and options. I will be glad if you could keep the EOD advice to is all and make it official on Next Day Open

Looks good Matt, how the heck do you manage this development, trade, communicate and even try to work on a basket of indices  to follow your SPY/ES systems?

This one really is disconcerting! Looking through the list I find a number of ETF'S we trade regularly such as USO, CORN, DBA,EPD, KOLD, USL, UVXY,  WEAT and UUP. I do know there are many non-Americans who are members of BPT. If they are targeting these, how long before they target SPY, QQQ etc.

Was pleased to get that heads-up from you Matt, As part of my trading plan, I always buy or sell MES contracts when the ghost trades trigger. I unfortunately have not kept those trades separately in my results column to be able to provide stats for but the winners do outstrip the losers. The only issue I do have is that I am not able to check my exits with the System's exits. So please keep them coming.

Wow Fundamentalvalues, what a powerful statement in the final two sentences "Money is the great test of character. It multiplies who someone is" Is this a quote from someone or is it your own statement. Do you mind giving some background to the statement, I find it difficult to come to terms with.   

I have posted before that I use a spreadsheet for the systems and stick to that. It removes the ad hoc approach to system trades. It obviously also depends on the size of your trading account.

Hi James, when I click on the chart link nothing populates. I tried GILD and a few others?

This has been one of my base charts I watch on a daily basis ever since Matt drew attention to it earlier this year. It seems we could mirror the August window where we have a few pop ups above the zero line. That together with the CPC ratio dropping to lower levels will probably commence the big correction C(of the large ABC) Steve has been suggesting.

I do remember a rough time in 2018  when there was a big sell-off in SPX from the 3rd December to the 24th December. That was a clear ABC  which completed. We are busy with a far longer bear market correction which should resolve over at least a 2 year period.

Will continue to monitor and adjust as Steve is wont to say.

Matt very impressed with what you have achieved re the KISS system. Is there a possibility that you/James could add a list of futures too. Preferably those that are macros but minis would also be very welcome. Also quite excited to see the reversion to mean systems applied to the ETF's and futures? too.

Steve, could you please define  "supply zone" . How do you determine the various levels on the chart.

Thank you Matt for all your work on the SPY/ES system. As I have mentioned before I have trolled the internet and reccomendations of other systems but the Profit Factor is nothing like your systems.

BUT... It takes discipline to take the trade and then to close it when the signal is given. Today was a case in point. Do you close all THE SYSTEMS OR ONLY THE ES  OPEN SHORTS. Switch off mind/emotion.... follow signal, pocket the profits on the ES and then watch the remainder of the open positions sky rocket after the bell!
