The m3 SwitchAdvanced Indicator is a powerful moving average study and a key element to "The Gap Indicator". Its called a switch since when the MA's interact with each other switchable events can occur - for example, their colors can be changed, alerts can be triggered or momentum highlights can be rendered. The indicator includes a host of MA's, gapless calculations, rendering options, alerts and analytics.
- You can view MA's on top of price denormalized to account for gaps
- You can render the MA switch as separate sub-panel normalized
- You can stack MA's in a series of solid colored lines to create a compact price trend view and series.
- You can render MA analytics that show, speed of MA, slope and trend level

The Switch supports, Simple, Exponential, Weighted, Triangular, Adaptive, Hull, Modified and Flex moving average types and allows you to combine these different types in one control in any configuration to generate signals. The study also includes delag and relag capability that can be applied as you need. This is a powerful way to reduce whipsaws, speed up or slow down standard MA's or to smooth prices.
Below is an example of the switch set gapless with an array of MA's in the bottom subpane. In this example all the Averages are 50 and 200...just different types. It's easy to see when all the MA's are voting long or short at a glance.
