What do you get?
- The code will run all the current strategies that are listed at Breakpoint Trades in the Premium Content section.
- A BPT Representative will log into your Tradestation account and
download the code for you while speaking with you over the phone and
explaining the process.
- After finishing the download process we will test the code to
ensure it is working properly and then ask the member to provide a few
systems they are interested in running. We will then walk the client
through how to go about setting a system up in Tradestation to view and
then how to take a system from one that is view only to actually
executing trades.
- Lastly we will be available for the member to ask questions
regarding the systems, automated trading or even generic Tradestation
questions that do not deal with the systems. We will also leave the
member with ways to contact a BPT representative with further
questions, comments or concerns regarding the product.
What Will I need?
- A member will need a working phone connection or Skype account for a BPT representative to reach them.
- A member will also need to download the latest Version (Version 5) of Team Viewer from the Team Viewer website.

- A member will need a working and active Tradestation account that
is open for the BPT representative to access and to provide their
Tradestation Customer ID in the box provided at checkout or to a BPT
representative prior to downloading any code.
- A member will need to set aside 1 hour to complete the set-up process with the BPT representative.
- **VERY IMPORTANT! A member should have Tradestation 2696 or earlier. While the code
WILL work on TS 3085, TS 3085 has a problem calculating Pivot points
and until they fix the problem I would not recommend upgrading (this
will effect the running of the AIG and BIDU systems as well as
potential future systems with Pivots).
Common Questions:
What warranty or guarantee comes with the product?
While on the phone with the member, the BPT agent will verify that
the code is working properly. After this verification is made, the
service will be considered completed and there will be no refunds after
this point because the member will have full access to the code. The
product being installed is protected using the Customer ID. This will
not allow the member to view or edit the code but should ensure that
the code performs as intended when we developed and now run the
strategies. We will be providing members with an email address and
phone number where they will be able to reach a representative during
the day to discuss any problems they are facing and a BPT
representative can also be made available to come onto the member's
computer to try and diagnose any issues. There could be charges for
additional time spent on a member's computer but those would be
explained prior to providing the service.
What trading platform does the code work with?
Currently the code is only written for Tradestation. We hope to
offer coding options in the future for other platforms especially Ninja
Trader but currently do not have a product. There is another system
called Multicharts. Multicharts can use Tradestation code to run
strategies in Interactive Brokers. While the code we are selling will
work, we have not had access to Multicharts and therefore at this point
cannot offer service to Multicharts users even though the code is the
same but we are hoping to also branch to support that system.
How long after purchasing the product will it take to have the product downloaded?
After you purchase the product a BPT representative will contact you
via email with-in 24 business hours in order to provide you the file
needed, links to set-up videos and contact information for scheduling
any assistance. Members can try and download the product on their own
or schedule BPT to do it for them.
Can I just buy the Strategy Code and not all the set-up?
We are currently not offering the code to be purchased outside of the product listed here.
Does Breakpoint Trades plan on offering the code to be purchased separately?
We do plan on offering the code to run the systems as a separate
product in our new store as well as some code from approved vendors and
even some for FREE in the future but no timetable is currently set.
